Outbound messages not having From Field set

I have a database that has a scheduled agent that sends out email messages.

 

The messages are being sent out, but then I receive delivery failures for each of them.

 

I can send email from my Notes mail database, but when I send mail from my agent, the from field never gets set.

 

I receive the following error message:

SMTP Protocol returned a permanent error.

set the SentBY and principal field

And why don't you just set the From Field by your agent?
