A few customers have encountered an unusual issue when attempting to load Interim Fix 1 (L605128) for Domino 9.0.1 FP2 on the IBM i. In some cases, the status of Fix Pack 2 (FP69012) does not change to "Permanently Applied", but goes to "Superceded", and the status of L605128 is "Damaged" after running the LODPTF command. Attempts to use RMVPTF to remove the PTF fail.
The resolution is to run LODPTF again, which restores PTF L605128 to a state where the RMVPTF command will work. If the job log is viewed after the RMVPTF fails, it instructs the user to run the LODPTF command to resolve this issue.
Once PTF L605128 has been removed, you can again attempt to run the LODPTF and APYPTF commands. In previous cases, the second attempt to load the PTF completed with no problems.
