Shared Memory Error

I'm working to upgrade all the Notes Clients in our environment.  Most upgrades work without any issues except I occasionally get this error before it prompts for the password.  It occurs on either Windows 7 or XP.

"Shared Memory from a previous Notes/Domino has been detected, the process will exit now".

Anyone see this before?  And before you ask, I've rebooted the workstation, I've run NSD -kill, removed anti-virus software, and I've also run the NICE tool and reinstalled the client.

rebuild INI

I seem to remember something in the notes.ini causing this error.  Try reconfiguring the client.  Backup the INI file then open up the live INI and clear out everything below the line Directory=, restart the client and do a health check.  Try your upgrade again.

Thanks for the response.  I tried that already though....removed all existing notes files and installed a fresh copy of Notes client with a new Notes.ini.  Still getting that error.
