Hello!
The documented requirements for enterprise database only supports "Enterprise edition": http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg27038193&myns=swglotus&mynp=OCSSYRPW&mync=R#_Enterprise_Database_Requirements
MS SQL feature matrix: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc645993%28v=sql.105%29.aspx#High_availability
Reply from IBM Support:
Microsoft's own documentation says that Enterprise should be used for "Mission critical deployments requiring high availability and uptime". Therefore, that is the only version that Traveler supports. As that is the only version Traveler supports, it is the only version that is tested. There may be other limiting factors in SQL Standard that make it not suitable for Traveler usage (limited CPUs, limited Threads, limited mirroring, etc.). As Traveler does not support Standard, we have not investigated whether it would work on Standard or not. We do not know of any specific functions that Traveler is using that Standard does not support, but it is not supported, so we have not done any real investigation into that area.
Does anyone of you successfully use the Standard edition of MS SQL in combination with Traveler HA 9.0?
Thank you
Michael
