Hi,

I think this is a bug but after spending a bit of time google-ing , I cannot find anything.

When changing password in iNotes (Preference > Security > Change Password) , I put in the old password and the new password. I got this error

"wrong password entered for old password"
"Password change process failed. Password was NOT changed"

about 5 minutes later my password changed to the new password :) So the function works but the dialog was wrong.

Anyone experiencing similar issue? Any suggestion for a fix.

The screen shot showing that you are trying to change Notes ID password from iNotes Preferences. You can use ID Vault to avoid such issue in the future. Let me know, if you need any further help on your query.

defeating the purpose

Hi Hansraj, As an Admin, I can reset the user password using ID Vault but I think it would be logical to allow the user to be able to reset their own password. Is there any way for user to reset their own password? (our user don't use IBM Notes, they only have access to iNotes).
