Notes 9 with OS 10.6.8?

Any experience with Notes 9 on 10.6.8?

I know officially it's not supported (10.7 and above I'm told). I tried an upgrade from 8.5.3 and it wiped out my previous installation, but after uninstall and reinstall it seems to run fine. So, can you upgrade? Is there any danger in running on 10.6.8 if I do a clean install?

There is not any danger (whether it's clean or upgrade install), just unsupported.<>
