Specify a location for workspace folder

I would like to move the folder workspace from <notesData>\workspace to another location, e.g. N:\workspace. In \framework\rcp\rcplauncher.properties I tried different values for rcp.data like rcp.data=N:/workspace, but without success. Is this supposed to work and how is the correct syntax?
Many thanks for any ideas.

When you open a not customized...

...rcplauncher.properties file then you can see the correct syntax. As an example: rcp.data=H\:/<username> . But, it is not a good idea to place the Workspace directory on a network share. You will have some trouble in the future with this configuration. Also it is not supported by IBM.
