save email copy in "sent" at server when sending email using SMTP with any email client

We have users that use email clients others than Notes, and I am trying to configure Domino so all sent email using those clients using SMTP are saved in the "Sent" folder of theirs servers mailboxes. Does anyone if this can be configured in Domino and how?

I am still reading about IMAP (I have disabled POP3, only imap is allowed). So, IMAP works fine for received email, and I don't know if IMAP by default should sync the emails in "sent" folder by default or not. The thing is that email from almost any folder should be syncked by IMAP, and I don't know if I am missing a server configuration for this, or if every client should be configured with some kind of special configuration. The ideal solution is that IMAP should take care by default of all this...

Anyway, by now I am still investigating if Domino can be configured so that every email sent by an authenticated user (using port 587 with STARTLS, hopefully, and 25 with STARTTLS if 2 ports can't be configured) get a copy of the sent email in the authenticated users "sent" folder at the server. Anyone? Thanks! ;)

Hi Rodrigo,

Thanks! I tried that on one of our server and it worked! I will apply that config on all of our servers.

Cheers
