Rich text into view for exporting

I have an old Notes application that I built many years ago with a form with a rich text field in it.

I have done virtually no Notes development in the intervening years, so this may be easy, but I am puzzled.

The Rich text field is named BuildNotes

I am trying to build a view to export this info out.

I have added a hidden field to the form called HiddenBuildField and the Value is set to @Abstract( [TextOnly] ; 64000 ; "" ; "BuildNotes" )

Then I added that field to my view.

The text from the rich text field shows up on the form if I open a document, but I can't seem to get it to show in the view?

I found something about needing to refresh selected documents create a SmartIcon/Toolbar icon with the following formula: @Command([ToolsRefreshSelectedDocs])

I couldn't figure out how to manage that.

I tried an agent and I just get an error saying "@command and other UI functions are not allowed with this search type"

Am I missing something simple?

I finally got it to work by adding an action with the formula  @Command([ToolsRefreshSelectedDocs]) to the form.

Couldn't figure out how to get an agent to work.
