There are several sources on the web that talk about an NSF enhancement in 9.0.1 FP3 called Live View Refresh - but I can't find any documentation with details of the feature and instructions for enabling it. Can anyone point me to it? Here is how it is talked about in IBM presentations:

 Live View Refresh

– Problem: Application performance can be poor when views indexes are being refreshed at the same time when reading/writing to a view.

– Solution: Providing dedicated background thread for maintaining critical view indexes can dramatically improve performance.

– Currently available in 9.0.1 FP3

thanks

Thank you, Gilbert....very helpful. Surprising that IBM does not have a wiki article or a readme file or something talking about how to use it!

Is this different than the FP9 Inline View Update?

I want to know if the Inline View Update can return stale data like the live view update can, or is it a blocking event upon save?
