Meetings longer than 24 hours

We soon turn into 2016 and as far as I remember this has been an open question: Why can't you schedule meetings or appointments that are longer than 24 hours? It just don't make sense...

Anyone that has some information of why this seems impossible to solve or does IBM just don't care about it?

The only real option is to book the time for a single day then make that meeting/appointment repeat for the days needed - if that's possible. Not ideal but it works for most cases.
