Trying to explicitly recycle database names.nsf warning

One of my Traveler 9.0.1 servers started showing this warning:
Notes Traveler: WARNING *system Trying to explicitly recycle database names.nsf, but the database was not opened on this thread.  Probably a get/recycle logic error. Current Map={lotustraveler.nsf=LotusTraveler.nsf}

The file is accessible, the server document for the traveler server is not corrupt and no functionality has been lost. I even ran maintenance on names.nsf.  However, the server continues to throw this warning.

What is causing this warning? What is traveler trying to recycle? I opened a case with support but they were no help. They keep asking me what changed. Nothing has changed.

Few questions
Are you seeing the errors for a short period of time or constantly.  This could be a transient issue where traveler tries to release the handle on names.nsf but it fails to do so.  Could be a hung thread as well.
I would suggest collecting logs and opening a pmr with support to see if the system is properly tuned.

Been there, done that

I opened a PMR with IBM and they came back with nothing. I'm upgrading this server to 9.0.1 IF4 (currently it's IF3) this weekend and will see if the warnings continue.
