Mark. Thanks for the link to the "Nice" tool. It allowed me to try several clean installs using various options.
I still cannot get Domino Designer to install on my Windows 10 device. I CAN install Notes and Administrator, but not Designer. I CAN NOT install the Open Social component with Notes.
Notes: My MIIX 700 shipped from Lenovo with Windows 10 Pro installed as it's operating system. I've installed Domino Designer on several other machines, but all of them had been upgraded from earlier version of Windows. The MIIX 700 also uses a new version of Intel's M processor,, so I don't know if that has any impact. This is the first time I've tried installing on a factory fresh Win 10 Pro machine.
Also Note: IF I attempt to install the "Open Social" component with Notes, the Notes install will fail when the installer attempts to verify "com.ibm.opensocial.sapi.feature_9.0.1.2013022-1058".
Also Note: IF I selected the default installation options for Notes, Designer and Administrator, I encountered a verification failure at "com.ibm.notes.roaming.provider.feature_9.0.1.20131022-0932."
I've tried installing as the LOCAL administrator, and as the Windows Domain Administrator, as well as selecting "Run as Administrator" when I execute.
No joy.
