i just downloaded the fixpack #2 for our domino social edition mail server and sametime server.  i made a mistake with the installation by choosing the wrong version to install.  i had inadvertantly downloaded both "flavors" of the domino server:  DOM_SEOS_COMPNT_901FP2_W64 and DOM_SEOS_COMPNT_901FP2_W32 / domino901FP2_w64., domino901FP2_w32  i installed the domino901FP2_w64 and domino901FP2_w32 over the top of the social edition servers but did not receive any errors and haven't seen any errors in log files.  is there any corrective action that needs to be taken or will this not be a problem later on?

FixPack 2 installation

Since you installed both versions, teh correct versin should have been installed on your current server.  To verify that your Domino server is now at the correct  level, run the command "Sh Server" from teh domino console.  This shoul verify thatthe FixPack 2 was installed.

Installign the verson for the incorrect archetechture of Windows (i.e. 32 bit or 64 bit) should not interfere with the corectly installed server.

You probably have both Domino versions installed on your system
Could you check your registry entry for HKLM\Software\Lotus\Domino 64 bit version
and
HKLM\Software\Wow6432Node\Lotus Domino  32 bit version
If they are both present, you installed both fixpacks.
Not supported but happens.

Fixpack 2 Version Installation

i checked and it reported back ok... the mail server is x64 and reported fp2 and the sametime x32 server reported as fp2 as well...  i didn't install a x32 bit software onto the x64 server but i was somewhat sleepy when i did the upgrades...  apparently there is no foul as our network still has full sametime, traveler and mail working and no errors being generated.  it would be a good after thought if IBM when releasing downloads would name them a bit more intuitively :)

thanks for replies.....
