I think he ment the Domino bitness, not the OS bitness. Unfortunately the requirements doc isn't clear about this, it only says "Domino 9".

With Traveler 8.5 both 32 and 64 Bit Domino was supported.

Traveler is a Java app AFAIK...shouldn't matter except for the installer...
