Format of Out of Office sender name...

The auto-reply messages of our particular user are sent from "DistinguishedName@domain.com" (e.g. "CN=Peter Newman/O=ACME@mydomain.com") instead of internet RFC 821 format (e.g. "peter.newman@mydomain.com").

I checked Owner field in his Mail Profile - is filled correct with his name.

The OOO auto-reply for other users is formated OK. We are using OOService, Domino R9.01.

I have 2 question:

1) What is "algorithm" of determination of sender of auto.reply message ( >> content of InetFrom field)?

2) I supposed, the Internet address from Person doc of mail database Owner is used - am I wrong?

Thanx...

Check Configuration documents

Check the parameter in "*-All servers", and all configuration documents that apply to your Domino domain servers.

Click on MIME Tab

Then on "Conversion Options" tab

Then on "Outbound" tab

Put this field to Enabled

Lookup Internet address for all Notes addresses when Internet address is not defined in document: Enabled

Save the documents (check the last one that apply to your Domino serveer

Then type and enter the following domino command line

Te router update config

on the Domino console, that should work fine IF you have a correct Domino Domain document (also) AND the internet address field is set in the person document.
