Notes 9 batch send (with attachements) fails

For over 6 years we have used Lotus Notes at various versions, right up to 8.5.3 to send out Timesheets attached to personal emails. We have been sending these and other documents at the rate of several hundred a week.

When we upgraded to Notes 9, the process failed. - Notes 9 sends out one email with an attachment then "stops responding".

We would quite happily stick with Notes 8.5.3, but we are effectively being forced to 'upgrade' to 9.0 by company policy.

So my question is What has changed in Notes 9.0 to stop it from sending out mails programmatically, and how do I change the program and or the Notes configuration to make it work like it has been for the past 6 years?  (Smooth and trouble free)

If we revert from 9 to 8.53, the program works fine .

Notes 9 batch send (with attachements) fails

Hi Davidx

We would really need you to submit a PMR so that the relevant Application Support team can take a more comprehensive look into what's happening.

There have been a lot of changes in Notes v9 so we would not be able to isolate the fault without a more detailed review into this problem.

We'd also need to know if there were other changes - specifically if Domino Server was upgraded too.

Anyway, please submit a PMR and we can try get a resolution/work-a-round to you asap.

Thanks,

Paul
