nxrtf.dll, nxrtf2.dll, and current image formats

Domino 9.0.1 is launching an installed version of nxrtf.dll from Agent Manager. That's working fine.

What isn't working fine is the obsolete imagery it supports nxrtf.dll appears to be ignoring later image formats of JPEGs & GIFs. And by "later", I mean anything past about 2005.

Under 8.5.3 I ran nxrtf2.dll. That ran fine.

However, the admins are having trouble installing nxrtf2.dll.

But there nxrtf.dll sits, taunting everyone, functioning normally on a Domino 9 server.

What's the process for getting nxrtf2.dll installed on the Domino 9 server like nxrtf.dll is installed?
