Thanks for all the responses still looking for some additional feedback

Thanks to everyone who responded.  I understand the risks, both the crashing and the security and because of the specialized work I do, the security is better my way of doing this work and crashing, it's happened once or twice but over what I gain from working locally far out weighs the risks.

I'm working with my IBM rep to help me, hopefully, solve this.  I've installed a client and that's working fine....too fine.  It's maintaining the client security and checking and wont let me work locally.  I need to work locally and by-pass some of the client authorizization checking otherwise it could cause some other issues that I don't want to happen.

Thanks again for the responses.  Fingers crossed either through my IBM rep or web searching I can find my answer.

Colleen, did you see my response above?
I noted, we do still ship nlnotes.exe only with 32 Bit Domino. We do not ship nlnotes with 64 Bit Version as we do not have a 64 Bit Notes Version. If we had a full 64 Bit Notes version then a 64 Bit nlnotes client would be included.
