Hello all

I have a doubt regarding ID Vault.

I manage a domino environment wich include 3 domino domains. The first one, is where the administration server is, has an ID Vault configured and working perfectly fine, IDs were uploaded to the vault using an explicit policy. Users from other domains are not being downloaded in the vault although thay also have an explicit policy. I saw that the vault won't work accross domino domains, so my guess is that I need to create separate vaults for each domain.

The problem is that when I want to create other Vault, if I try to create it from the admin server, when I have to select the Vault and replica servers, I can only choose servers from the first domino domain and nothing more. I tried to create it on the admin server but most of the users IDs won't get uploaded to the vault. A few get uploaded though.

If I try to create it from a server of the other domain, the vault server is just that server and I can't select another server from that domain, I just can select replica servers from the first domain. Nevertheless, I think it's not OK to create a vault this way.

So, can anyone guide me a bit on this? I would like to have 3 vaults working, one for each domino domain.

Question
Do you mean that when you get to the Vault Servers dialog and have a list of servers to pick, they are all from Domain A and not Domains B or C? Make sure the location document you are using and the administration preferences both point to the domain you want to configure. That should allow you to pick servers from that domain.
