I am trying to get the view in which emails are arranged as conversations or threads. In client 8.0xxx, this used to appear as an item in the left hand pane of the inbox view. (under Views --> all by to , all by date etc.

Now this seems to have moved to Actions --> Conversations.

on selecting this nothing changes in the view.

Seem to have lost the functionality of searching by threads

Please replace Design again
In R802 FP6 , R901 and R902 clients, I saw 'Conversations' all got displayed under 'Actions' menu.  When that option is checked, it will display the Conversations view.  All thread msgs will be displayed w/  in the Subject column, and   'Clear' action button will be displayed at the upper right corner as well.  Click the 'Clear' button, it should resume be to individual msg view.  If you don't see this.  Could you please close your mail file, and select it from Workspace, and do 'Replace Design' again.
