Unable to locate the viewer configuration file

Hello,

I just downloaded and installed IBM Notes version 9 on a Windows 7 Professional 32-bit system.  The interface is definitely nice and clean.  I think other users will appreciate it over the versions we've been using.  It's also corrected some problems I've been having.

I am now having a problem when trying to view attachments.  If I right-click on an attachment and select view, I receive an error dialog which states "Unable to locate the viewer configuration file."  I was able to do this with older versions of Notes--i.e., 8.5 or 6.5.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Unable to locate the viewer configuration file
Hi,
Can you locate keyview.ini file in Data folder of Notes installation?  Ideally it gets installed properly without issues with upgrade/fresh install. If this file is missing then we need to investigate further.
Did you upgrade form previous version or did fresh installation of Notes?
If you are blocked on this then you can copy the following file in Data directory, if it doesn't exist. To investigate further please send us nsd and console logs from Data\IBM_TECHNICAL_SUPPORT folder.

Thanks,
Anand
