Hi,

Generally our company does not do archiving but one user has asked that her sent folder be archived after 3 month.  In this case, she actually just wants them deleted.

I did a test of this on my mail file and any mail item that is dragged from "Sent" to a user's folder also gets deleted when the archiving runs.

Is there a setting on either the archiving settings or perhaps one on the mail preferences itself that either:

a) prevents a document from being removed from a folder if there is also another link to it in a different folder or

b) is there a way to set a preference so that when she drags a document from sent to another folder it creates a copy of the document (although this won/t help so much with the current stuff in her folder).
