Upgrading Traveler server to 9.0.1.7

This is a two part question.  I will link to the second question at the bottom because they are related, but I will give it it's own thread.

Our Traveler server is currently running ND9.01.FP2HF384, Traveler version 9.0.1.0 Build 201411031536.  (I know I'm behind a few releases)

Right now we do not use SSL. (no lectures please).

I'm looking to upgrade to the latest version of Domino (9.0.1.4) and the lastest version of Traveler (9.0.1.7).

Can I upgrade our environment as it today, and have the devices continue to sync, without using SSL?  I know I would have to disable the use of the iOS Verse client through a notes.ini setting.

    NTS_SERVLET_ALLOW_CLIENT_INSTALL_APPLE_IBM=false

This is the other thread.

Thanks

Thanks.

We've opted to add the SSL and do the upgrade all at the same time.  That way the user's are inconvenienced once and they can get the security and the newest clients all at once.

Fair Warning...

There is a memory leak in Domino 9.0.1 FP4 that is specific to TLS..  It is fixed in an Interim Fix (IF2), and the same fix is supposed to be in Fix Pack 5 to be released in November.  The memory leak will cause the nHTTP process to crash and take the rest of the Domino server with it.  I currently have this issue with three Traveler servers running the same exact versions.  Also, Traveler 9.0.1.8 is now out, so you may want to consider that.
