Multiple Documents Printing Error

I have my inbox sorted using the Group By Date feature...I also use the preview pane on the bottom. When I select multiple emails for printing, I get "The selected items were not documents. Please documents for this operation". One document at a time works fine...and if you click of the Group By Date feature, it will print multiple documents fine again.
