Change Body field font on Reply & Reply History

Hi -- can any one help with this ?  On our 9.0 template we changed the Font type & colour in the Body fields on the Message, Reply, Reply with History forms.  All good.

Have just applied the same changes to the 9.01 template.  The Message/Memo form has changed correctly but the Reply forms are still using the Default San Serif setting in the original template.

We are using the Notes client not iNotes.

Any thoughts on why ????

Thanks

Check the Design Properties of the Reply forms
1. Open up a users mail file that is experiencing this problem in Designer.
2. Select the Reply Form in the Forms view in Designer
3. Click on the Properties view tab in the Designer UI
4. This Properties view has 4 tabs associated with it (Info, Fields, Design, Document Ids) - choose Design
5. Look at the 'Design Source' properties of this Form.  Make sure it is not inheriting from a different template than you expect and make sure it is not prohibiting design refreshes

Repeat with the Reply with History & Attachments Form

Change Body field font on Reply & Reply History

Hi Bob -- thanks for your input.

I have double checked all the design element settings you mentioned and everything is OK.

One thing I did notice is the in the 9.0 template (the one that has the Body field fonts functioning correctly) there are additional forms:

Reply with History & Attachments-9

Reply-9

These don't exist in the 9.01 template.

I have stayed with the 9.0 template design for the time being which is pushing out the Font changes correctly until I can get to the bottom of the issue.  Any other thoughts on this would be appreciated.

You say " One thing I did notice is the in the 9.0 template (the one that has the Body field fonts functioning correctly) there are additional forms: Reply with History & Attachments-9, Reply-9.

In StdR9Mail template that ships with both the IBM Notes 9.0 and IBM Notes 9.0.1, there are 2 reply style forms that have identical names and identical alias names (see table below).  So when you say there are additional forms: Reply with History & Attachments-9, Reply-9 it sounds to me like there is been some customization of the reply forms in your 9.0 template.  My guess is that someone modified the Design of the Body field in these forms (and possibly made other modifications).  In the Forms view in designer, look who saved these forms last.  Bottom line, I think if you open the  Reply with History & Attachments-9 or the Reply-9 forms in designer, double-click on the Body field to bring up the infobox (properties) of the Body field, go to the 4th tab (the font 'a') tab, you will see the font setting for this field.  You can make the same change to the same fields in the 9.0.1 template
