Notes client connection to web server fails - not trusted

We're using perweb.nsf and the db.GetDocumentByURL to connect to a (non-Domino) web server.  The SSL certificate used on that web server is not trusted by Notes client.  I imported the certificate to my address book and created internet cross certificate, but I'm still getting this message returned to the perweb.nsf document

ERROR

The requested document (URL https://myhost.mycompany.com/Web/ClientHandler) could not be loaded.

An error occurred during the SSL handshake.

I can view this URL in a browser with no trouble.

Re: Notes client connection to web server fails - not trusted
Hello Robert!

It seems that the error is related with some proxy configuration.
If you are using some Proxy server, I suggest you try to change this configuration on Notes client and chek it again.

If no Proxy server is in use, an alternate workaround is to set the "Accept SSL site certificates" to "Yes" in the location document. This field can be found on the Advanced tab, on the SSL sub-tab in the location document.
Check too the field "SSL Protocol version".

I hope it helps!

Best Regards!
