Is there a way in Traveler 9.0.1 to only sync when I tell it to?

Is there a setting in Traveler 9.0.1 to have it sync with the server only when I ask it to? Seems to me that with the older version I could set it to be a Pull Sync.

I have looked through the traveler settings on my Android Tablet and can't see anything like that. I also get a message that Traveler is preventing the power manager from going to standby. The power drain by Traveler is pretty significant.

Found it set Peak and Off Peak schedule to Manual!

Now how to allow the power manager to put Traveler on Standby?

Re Traveler manual sync and power drain

I have a Google Nexus 10 tablet that has been running Traveler since 2012 (I'm currently running the latest version available from the Google Play Store).  I've got the sync set to every 30 min peak hours and hourly off peak.  The tablet will stay alive for days in standby, so I can't duplicate your issue.  Setting sync to "manual" should do even better.

My experience is with Android 4.3, since I disabled the ability of it to prompt me to "upgrade" to 4.4 (KitKat) and now 5.0 (lollypop).  That may affect what I'm seeing.  IMHO, 4.4 was a big downgrade for Android tablets, and 5.0 is no better, with known bugs and also no useful, functional additions.  But that discussion is for another forum.
