Hi,

I would like to route SMTP from Domino to a certain domain using a SMTP relay (MTA) which needs authentication.

Is that even possible?

How would it be done?

Thank you,

Manuel

Yes, but only to the configured relay host
See   https://www-01.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/SSKTMJ_8.5.3/com.ibm.help.domino.admin85.doc/H_ENABLING_SMTP_OUTBOUND_AUTHENTICATION_TO_RELAY_HOSTS_OVER.html

and https://www-01.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/SSKTMJ_8.0.1/com.ibm.help.domino.admin.doc/DOC/H_ROUTER_SMTP_BASICS_TAB_OVER.html

So you might have to first relay to an internal server for that particular domain using a foreign smtp domain document, and then have that internal server be configured with a relay host and auth settings as described
