That's a great question, that more and more customers are going to have, unfortunately the answer is not as simple as the question.

The first thing to thing about is what do you Notes apps do, how much code do they run on the backend, do you have agents that interact with the directory, OS file system etc. things like that.  Those agents/apps will be impacted when you run them on the IBM Cloud.


Secondly, do your client apps do any interaction via things like ole automation, COM etc.  Not sure if the plugin even supports that kind of capability.

The plugin will need to be installed and managed, it's a big plugin, it's effectively the notes client as a plugin.

NBP cant do composite applications
Just a reminder the NBP cant do composite apps,
 but its great for legacy applications!
