Domino 9.01 on Windows 2012 Domain Controller

Hopefully someone can answer this for me.

I have a client who is considering putting Domino 9.01 in.on a new server running Windows 2012 Std Edition.

The server will be running as a Primary Domain Controller.

Will Domino 9.01 run on the server without any issues ?

I know 9.01 runs fine on Windows 2012,running as a standalone server, but have not tested it running on a PDC.

Can anyone advise ?

Thanks.

Domino running on a Windows Domain Controller

Domino should run fine on a PDC.  If you are going to do this the only thing that I would look at is to ensure the you have sufficient RAM and Bandwidth available to run both the omino Server and the PDC.   Technically, there are no issues running the Domino Server.

Depend on features

when the pdc has ldap enabled, you will get a port collision.

LDAP and possibly DNS
You can have Domino LDAP listen on a different port (I usually pick 3890/6360) to address the LDAP conflict. DNS could also be an issue if Active Directory is configured differently from whatever DNS was being used previously.
