Hi,

I am thinking to enable the options to compress design and data to improve network bandwidth, is this a good move?

will this, compress designs and data and sends compressed information from server to client then the client decompresses and vice verca?

thx.

what about Network consumption?

Thanks Paul for the link.

So I understand that these 2 options will shrink size of the database, I can presume that it will also decrease network consumption as the server/client will support the compression/decompression mechanism.

How does this defer from the option "Compress Network Data" already available on the port configuration that can be enabled on both server and client. would these 3 options work together?

Thanks.

Samer
