We are running in a serious issue with Traveler 9.0.0.1 and BES 10.1.1 / Blackberry 10.

After removing the function of "maxium Attachment Size" within MR 9.0.0.1 within Traveler, ALL Blackberrys

get pushed EVERY FULL Attachment, even it has a size of 25MB and is not readable on the device.(f.e.. Autocad etc.)

With 600 Users out there, and we we can not stop delivering the attachments to the device, we are running out of space and limited dataplans ....

With the former solution by setting maxium Attachment Size the devices only get smal attachmend directy pushed,

bigger ones had to be downloaded activly by tapping on the attachment.

NOW, EVERY Attachment is always pushed completely to the device.

On top: Within the activation process of new Blackberry 10 devices the past 30days "mails" are synct completly WITH Attachments.

PLEASE, is there a workaround for this issue? Is this IBM's or Blackberry's fault?

From description of 9.0.0.1
" Attachment streaming optimizations
The IBM Notes Traveler administrator setting Maximum Email Attachment Size Allowed - Administrator now only applies to the older Windows Mobile and Nokia Symbian devices. Improvements in the IBM Notes Traveler server no longer require an artificial limit to be placed on attachment size for other devices. This is because all attachments are efficiently streamed to the mobile device messaging clients. This repairs an issue with Apple iOS clients where it was possible to select Download the rest of the message which would remove all attachments if they were larger than the default maximum size of 4MB."

I suggest you open a PMR.

Response from Blackberry

Thank you for contacting BlackBerry Technical Support.

We currently have a workaround for this issue and it is to contact IBM support and open up a PMR with them asking them to reference APAR LO76550. This issue is now outlined in KB34855 of ours. The link below will guide you to our knowledge base article on this.

So, the response is: contact IBM. But IBM does not respond to my PMR....

Greate solution...
