Hi Admins,

We are having difficulty to implement a secondary mail routing for SMTP to relay host connector.

We have two (2) Domino servers that are geographically dispersed. Both Domino servers has relay host connector settings and we are planning to HA the mail routing.

Site1 - DominoA

Site2 - DominoB

(Notes. Both Domino servers are in the same Notes Named Routing. Both has internet connections to directly route external mails to relay host server / connection. SMTP Inbound and Outbound are also enabled. Both are members on the same cluster).

The target is, if Site1 internet goes down, all pending mails from DominoA will be forwarded to DominoB. DominoB on-behalf will then forward mails externally to relay host server / connection. [vice-versa]

Is this feasible? You may refer on the image URL for the target topology.

Thank you.

Best regards,
Mike

Have you tried

placing both the Internet Router's address as well as your other Domino server's address in the Relay field?

You can separate multiple values with a semi-colon.
