How can I found out which Domino language pack is installed apart from opening mail9.ntf ?

It depends if you have access to the server's file system
Assuming that we are talking about Windows servers, it depends if you have access to the server's file system (as unrestricted agent or via RDP console), you may check the existence of
LPLog.txt
LPSilent.ini
nstrings_<iso>.dll, e.g. nstrings_de.dll
in the Domino server's program directory.

Don't know the files for other platforms.

Take in considerations that these files will only exist if the MUI program files has been installed on the server, not only the templates.
