Hi there,

I have two users who reported that the LED light on their phone does not blink any more when they receive an email.

The 2 users have Samsung Galaxy S4 phones.

I have a Galaxy S3 and tried it out.

In the Traveler email client, I tapped the Menu button, Settings, Other Mail Preferences and "Blink device LED" is enabled.

However, when I receive an email, the LED light does not blink.

Is the problem with Traveler or with the OS?

And can anybody suggest a solution?

Thanks and kind regards.

I had that problem

I had that problem with Traveler 9.0.1 but it was solved after installing IF6 on the traveler server and updated the lastest traveler client on the phone

EDIT: Install the Traveler client that comes with IF6, not the one at Google Play store

Attachment issues

Note that there are some attachment (and other) issues that seem to magically appear with IF6 - you might want to open a PMR with IBM to get the latest hotfix for attachment issues before you install.

server client

But as far as I know, the attachment problem was happening with the Google Play client. I have many Android users and we're all using the client that comes with the server and didn't have any problem with attachments.

Thanks

Thanks a lot Andres and Mark.

I will try to install the latest Fix Packs and see if that solves the problem.

correction

I'll correct myself (just for future searches) ... IF6 android client comes with problems, but they can be solved asking for a fix by opening a PMR.

IBM sent me a new client apk that fixes the attachment problem (and other issues).
