What about an Electron based Notes client that basically mirrors the functionality of SCN/VoP with offline capabilities.
In the long run, this could be a starting point for an application platform to integrate other (not only Domino-based) applications via REST server APIs.
Alternatively, to pick the existing Watson Workspace Electron client (although not managed by HCL) as the starting point and extend it by SCN/VoP functionality.
