We have Domino 9.0.1 , it is an application server, and would like to sync AD password and Domino. A quick search result on AD Sync, however the sample is for Server 2003. I am wondering if AD Sync compatible with Server 2012 Active Directory?

ADSync is intended to be installed on a 32-bit client OS
I'm not aware of it working on a 64-bit OS, and it's not intended for a server operating system. Having said that, it's a fairly old technology, and I'd recommend that you instead look at delegating passwords to AD via SAML integration. It will be more work to set up initially, but I think you'll be happier with the results.
