Hi,

I can not create a view to display mails contained in a folder and its sub folders.

When i try to use the filter fields with a folder, nothing appears in my newly created view. If I try to use the formulas it's the same. Which formula can I enter so that my emails show the contents of a folder and its subfolders? I wish for this view to use the model of view 'all documents', if I create a view by copying the style of this view, I get all the mails of the BAL, as soon as I add a selection criterion folder nothing appears on my view.

Thank you for your help

Best regards

Please elaborate
My first assumption when I saw the subject line of your post was that you wanted to design a view having a SELECT formula that selects documents referenced by a folder and/or its subfolders. If that is indeed your question, then the short answer is: You can't do that, since a SELECT formula can only evaluate field values found on the very document it is currently examining -- nothing else (and specifically not folder references to documents).

But after reading the body of your post, I'm a bit confused about what you are trying to do.
- Are you really designing a View, or is it a Folder? (as per the definitions in Domino Designer)
- If it is indeed a View that you are designing, how does your SELECT formula look like?
- What is your definition of "filter fields" when you say "When i try to use the filter fields with a folder..."?
- What is your definition of a "selection criterion folder"?
- What are "all the mails of the BAL"?
