Notes9 on mac autosaving emails as eml to mac desktop

Has anyone ever heard of any such thing? A user says that it is happening and that by the end of the day, she has her mac OS desktop covered with automatically created eml files

There is no built-in autosaving email as eml feature in Notes
Any Eclipse plugins or Agents installed on the user's mac?
