Windows. On the bottom right, there sometimes is a Progress bar for background operations happening. On the new colour scheme, it's the standard windows blue on the nearly black. So, it's invisible. 

I nearly was force killing the designer, because I could not see it was still in opening and background operation. 

On the mac it's ok, since the system progress bar is in swirling in blue and white. 

Please correct.
