Our marketing department creates campaigns all the time. The link (e.g. below) runs fine on other servers but not Domino. I'm assuming an ?Open& or something else is needed. Any ideas why this would not work? I know Google has a custom URL builder for campaigns. Any advice appreciated. ***The URL below does load the PDF but am assuming doesn't trigger the analytics portion. I'm not certain how it would. I know how it works on page loads when the analytics code is present but not at a file level. http://www.domain.com/graham_cracker.pdf?utm_source=2014-10-13&utm_medium=Email&utm_campaign=Graham%20Cracker%20PDF note: I did add "Open&" behind the last Domino part (file name, in this case). The URL did load but is it doing anything? If Domino opens "utm_source=2014-10-13&utm_medium=Email&utm_campaign=Graham%20Cracker%20PDF" part how does it know it should do something? http://www.domain.com/graham_cracker.pdf?Open&utm_source=2014-10-13&utm_medium=Email&utm_campaign=Graham%20Cracker%20PDF dsd
From Custom URL Builder site: "The URL builder helps you add parameters to URLs you use in Custom Campaigns. When users click one of the custom links, the unique parameters are sent to your Google Analytics account, so you can identify the URLs that are most effective in attracting users to your content." How does Domino know to send to Google when file is called? Again, I understand on page load because the tracking code is there.
