NotesSQL on a Server

I have problems with running NotesSQL 9 on IBM Domino Server 9.0.1 on Windows Server 2008 64-bit.

Installed two Domino servers: "SRV A" (production server) and "SRV B" (dedicated to NotesSQL).

When configuring ODBC data souces (64-bit ODBC - via Control Panel), I am able to connect to "SRV A" from "SRV B", I can see the databases on the server and I can pick one.

When trying to use the ODBC data source (testing from Microsoft Excel, 64-bit) then when I select the data source configured in the previous step, I get the following error message:

[lotus][odbc lotus notes] unable to find path to server. check that your network connection is working.

I have tried nearly everything. Reconfigured ODBC, reinstall the Domino server, added the Domino server and NotesSQL into the system path; tried Authentication list - but nothing seems to help. Can anybody give me a hint how to correctly configure NotesSQL on a Domino Server-?

Thank you!

A Guide to Getting Started with NotesSQL

http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg27041194

This white paper describes the process necessary to get started with NotesSQL. Specifically, this document covers the following points: what software is necessary to use NotesSQL, choosing your version of NotesSQL, OS Support Matrix, bitness, what IBM software should be installed locally for NotesSQL to use, troubleshooting, and additional NotesSQL resources

ODBC Notes SQL
Hello Adam,

You had to check whether the notes sql was installed in 64 dir path or 32 dir path. Program file or program file (x86).
There is a freeware which also tell Dependency Walker is a free utility that scans any 32-bit or 64-bit Windows module (exe, dll, ocx, sys, etc.) and builds a hierarchical tree diagram of all dependent modules. For each module found, it lists all the functions that are exported by that module, and which of those functions are actually being called by other modules. Another view displays the minimum set of required files, along with detailed information about each file including a full path to the file, base address, version numbers, machine type, debug information, and more.
