hi all,

I'am trying to install domino 9 on this configuration :

- release : 9.0 64 Bits

- OS : Redhat Enterprise Server 6.0 / 6.2 64 Bits

- platform : Citrix Xen Server 6.1

When running installation the VM keeps on crashing and generating dump files.

I tried installing the 32 bits version and it runs with no problems.

Any help will be appreciated

thx

not supported

Hi Joe,

If you have a look at the system requirements for IBM Domino 9.0 you will see that you need Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) Server 6 x86-64 Update 3 or 4

XenServer is also not supported as a virtual platform but this shouldn't be any problem as I am running Domino 9.0 on XenServer 6.1 to.

Kind regards,

Dave

hi dave,

thx for the reply.

I'am running  Domino 9 64 Bits on RHEL 6.0 64 Bits on Windows Hyper-V whith absolutely no problem and I was able to install domino with GUI.

My problem with the VM on citrix starts with the installation process !!!!

can you run this
./install -is:log mylog.txt - or whatever and see what is in the log.
In general any information regarding the nature of jvm problem - like sceenshot - will be helpful.

thanks
