Sending mail to auto-populated group with Reader access...

We have auto populated group with two subgroups (automatically generated due to big members count) - let say:

a) Main group: AllUsers

b) Subgroups:  AllUsers-APPG00001, AllUsers-APPG00002

In order to prevent accidential "mass mailing" to this group, we have definied just some users as Readers of AllUsers group - however NOT to subgroups (let's say UserA and UserB).

1) When UserA sends mail to AllUsers, the users from subgroups receive mail

2) When similar mail sends another UserB, the mail will be sent just to direct members of main group AllUser and sender receives NDR message for subgroup: "Not authorized to send mail to this user or group".

3) When UserB is added as Reader to this subgroup in DD, the mailing runs OK.

The UserA and UserB have the same access to DominoDirectory....

My questions:

1) What is expected behaviour of resolving auto-populated Groups member that are Readers limited? UserA or UserB case?

2) Do you have similar experience?

Thanks,..

User B access rights to the group
Hi, Miroslav.  I would be interested in knowing User B's access rights to the group in the group document ACL. It sounds like the user is in the Readers' field of the All group.
