IDVault administrator - only few users are listed as possible administrators

Hello

I need to add newly created user as administrator of ID Vault (not reset authority but administrator). However I see that he is not listed as possible ID Vault administrator in the list. Adding this user to Vault's database ACL nor to Domino Directory ACL nor to Full Access Administrators did not change anything.

Any ideas why only few persons are listed as possible ID Vault administrators?

Regards

Ramunas

I don't care for the design of the picker, but it only looks for entries in the server doc's Administrators and Full Access Administrators fields, so you'd have to have the user listed there to be selectable. However, my testing notes of this from several years ago show that it worked just fine by manually adding the user to vault database ACL and the vault document. The SPR for this is CSCT7XQLCC.

Have you added the "auditor" role in the "ID Vault" database ACL for the User?

No success with picker

User is directly listed directly as auditor in ACL and listed directly in Full Access Administrators + Administrators fields. Directly  - meaning without use of groups. However the picker does not show the user.

I added user manually to ID Vault document.

Does it work?
If you add the admin to the vault doc and the vault ACL, can that admin perform all necessary vault tasks? That was my experience, but that was testing back in 2009 when I created the SPR. I'm not aware of any changes that would make it work differently today.

If you are an admin in the Id Vault and have Auditor role, you can download Id's from the ...

Remove the admin from the "Full Access Administrator", only use that when you need to access a database where you are not allowed to access. Otherwise switch off the option, in some cases it actually reduces what you can do, sometimes the titles of database disapear, other things happen too.

If you are an admin in the Id Vault and have Auditor role, you can download Id's from the vault.
