Notes.ini Server Task

Check the server task line in your notes.ini, it probably has DAOS in there.  If you want to stop it right now, just type tell DAOSMgr quit or stop the service from the Notes Admin client.

Hope that helps.

Not ServerTasks

Thanks Stephen for your reply.

I checked the notes.ini ServerTasks and DAOSMgr is not in it (same problem on our two servers).

Any other idea ?? :-)

Re: Not ServerTasks
Please verify the state of DAOS using the 'show server' command.  Was DAOS enabled at one time...and then later disabled?

DAOS: Not Enabled

Hi Patrick,

Here are the information from the console after restart :

Show server :

DAOS:                   Not Enabled

Show tasks :

DAOS Manager         Resync: Idle
DAOS Manager         Prune: Idle
DAOS Manager         DbDelete: Idle
DAOS Manager         Adopt: Idle
DAOS Manager         Idle

Still my question : why is DAOSMgr running ?

Re:DAOS: Not Enabled
If daosmgr starts up...but DAOS is not enabled, it should exit immediately.
