Re:
There are several ways
1.Start the IBM Domino windows service by accessing the administrative console and going to Services.  From there locate the IBM Domino service right click and select start
2. You can use the command prompt.  Open a command prompt and type net start <Service_Name>  where <servicename> is the name of the Domino service
3. Start Domino as an application.  Either from a command prompt or from Windows Explorer navigate to the Domino directory and run nserver.exe

Note if you simply want to do a restart of Domino you can do so by typing the command "restart server" in the Domino console.  This will shut down the Domino server and start it back up after 10 seconds

Starting Domino

You can use the Domino Server Icon on your windows desktop.  This should allow you to start either as a service or an application.
