Unable to start Domino 9.0 as service

Hi everyone,

 

After upgrading from 8.5.3 FP1 to 9.0 on a server running OS Name Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard - Version 6.1.7601 Service Pack 1 Build 7601 

1. I am able to start the server from the shortcut on the Desktop (as application)

2. however when trying to start it as a service, I get this message:

I've checked the dcontroller.ini and dconsole.ini and they appear to be correctly configured.

 

Any ideeas?

Hi,

first check your console.ini -> http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21461826

If this not works, add follow lines to your notes.ini

- ServerController=1

- TCP_ControllerTcpIpAddress=xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:2050 (where xxxx is ip address from domino server)

restart server and check with netstat - a where 2050 is binded.
