URL hotspots not working?

Running 9.01 Admin client, Release 9.0.1 Revision 20131022.1138 on a Windows 10 Pro box

I just noticed that URL hotspots in email do nothing. They show up as hotspots, and the cursor changes on mouseover, but clicking does nothing.

Preferences are set to use external (Firefox) browser.

Hotspots pointing to Notes dbs work.

Any ideas?

Could be this
An 'Action Hotspot' with no action disguised as a url link hotspot will do nothing when clicked:

http://www.ibm.com

But a 'Link Hotspot' with the 'URL' property specified will open the url:

http://www.ibm.com

Hotspot

Check the properties of the hotspot to verify that it is a proper URL link.

re: URL hotspots not working?

No idea. I went back to the same email today and all the hyperlinks worked.

I think the last thing I tried (it had not been working for a while) was to "Disable embedded browser for MIME mail", but I thought I had checked it after (unless a restart was required)

Hopefully it keeps working, I had thought it might have been a Windows Update "fix" designed to make my life better.
